Prayers sent my man.  Just remember the man upstairs is looking down, and that everything happens for a reason (even if we can't find one).

But the devil, he won't notice when we die.
Hey don't you figure he's got bigger fish to fry.

At times like this prayers are the only thing that help. I know where you are coming from. We have had 3 deaths in our family within a months time. I hope it ends now.

THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH FOR YOUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS !
IT'S BEEN A ROUGH DAY.WE KNEW THIS DAY WOULD COME AND WE'RE GLAD
HE HAD MORE TIME THAN ORIGINALLY GIVEN.THE DOCTORS HAD GIVEN HIM A LOW CHANCE OF SURVIVAL IF THEY OPERATED ,SO HE DECIDED TO TAKE THE TIME HE HAD LEFT.IT TAKES A MAN TO DO THAT AND HE HANDLED IT WELL.HE HAD BEEN A FREIND AND NEIGHBOR FOR YEARS AND AFTER HE LOST HIS WIFE AND MY MOM LOST MY DAD
THEY JUST SORTA ENDED UP TOGETHER.US KIDS KNEW AND LIKED HIM SO IT WAS OK.THEY HAD BEEN MARRIED ABOUT 6 YRS.

SEEMS LIKE A LOT OF US HERE ARE GOING THROUGH ROUGH TIMES LATELY.
THANKS AGAIN FOR BEING THERE !

THE VULTURES ARE ALREADY CIRCLING!  MY STEPBROTHERS[2 OF THEM]
SHOWED UP AT MOMS HOUSE LAST NIGHT AND WANTED TO SEE THE WILL.
THEY SAID ITS NOT RIGHT.THAT THEIR DAD TOLD THEM THEY WOULD GET CERTAIN THINGS.THEY ALSO THINK THEY GET THE HOUSE SHE LIVES IN.  I DON'T THINK SO !!!
HE OWNED A FARM THAT THEY WILL SPLIT,AND THEY WILL GET  $50,000 EACH.
BUT HE LEFT ALL HIS PERSONAL PROPERTY TO HER.I BELEIVE THIS INCLUDES THE GUN,TOOLS ,TRACTORS,TRUCKS ETC.

AM I RIGHT ON THIS ???
HE SAID ONE SON COULD HAVE A COUPLE GUNS,BUT ITS NOT IN THE WILL.
THE OTHER SON IS A CONVICTED MOLESTER SO HE CANT HAVE ANY GUNS.
THE HOUSE THEY BOUGHT TOGETHER AND AS HIS SURVIVING SPOUSE I THINK SHE GETS IT.SHE HAD BETTER,SHE SOLD HER HOUSE TO MOVE IN WITH HIM !

THIS WILL PROLLY GET NASTY.I AM PISSED.

If the will states her as survivor benificiary then it is hers by law and a lawyer will take care of that. That is sad that people have to be that way. GOOD LUCK.

Deeply sorry to hear of your loss, it is so sad that when someone passes away people become vulchers, as if things arnt difficult enough, unless its stated in your step dads will i wouldnt think your step brother could lay claim to anything unless he were to contest the will, my mum passes away last year from a cerebral haemorrhage, the one thing i am greatful for is that it was fast, it gives little comfort but at least there was no suffering, mum was 57, thoughts and prayers sent for your sister..wishing you well

I just read all this Gary .. I am sorry for your loss and your family's as well . I send prayers for healing and also for your sister, may her health preval.

I'm sorry to hear of the things people do in an act of selfishness . I dont understand how people can become so uncaring in a time of saddness. Jim is Right though a lawyer will protect your mom have no worry . What your stepdad has placed down will be the way it is ..wether people like it or not ...and being the Gentalmen he seems to have been I'm sure he took good care of your mom.
