yeah i guess so, i'll share it with y'all. every season since i bought my tent blind i sneak in the evening b4 opening day and put it up,stake it down, put my chair and pack in it so i won't forget anything. this way all i need is my gun and bullets,so after i get home i put them on the 4 wheeler. this particular morn i had been at my huntin' spot for a couple hours and nothin' was happening. on a huntin' show on the outdoors channel a guy said if nothin' is happening ,do something.so,i get my buck growl call, rattle bag and grnt tube and snort wheeze call out of my pack. i start a sequence of buck growl,to mimic a buck gettin' mad cause a doe would'nt give it up,then a snort wheeze, followed by a grunt or two and some antler ticklin'.(i know this sounds like a lot,but it don't take maybe 4 min.)to me i could see a buck gettin mad at the doe ,growlin'and a bigger buck wanted her so he came in and that's when the spar starts.anyway, after about 4 sequences of this i see about 259 yard a deer runnin' like crazy right at me. it was a buck with one whole side of antlers broke off.he walked within' 20 yards of me ,but being in the blind he never knew i was there. as he was walking past me i said(go on ole broke horn ,i want the one that broke your antle) after he went into the thicket and about a hour more i heard a real snort wheeze and a snort.that's when i sais ole; broke horn is goin to get him a mate.of about 200 yd.in a distance 2 does came crashing out into the grass field and i though ole broke horn was after them ,but when this buck proudly walked into the field ,it was game on. one shot fired and a big buck down. 186 yd shot and he never even made a move.thought i missed him until i saw his hips wonder sise ti side a little ,then he went straight down and hard to believe but,the 2 does bedded down right beside him and never moved till i rode over on my 4 wheeler. the barnes 165 gr 308 cal bullet made a pass through shot and he stood there till all life left him. that's the story of this buck.. stay tuned for the one i took this past season.

i told trhe taxidermist i wanted a startled look on it's face ,because thats what i remember it lookin' like after the bullet hit him. tell you what ,i never actually looked at it close until i got home and took one down and put him up,walked away 12 ft turned and looked at it ,and man it looked alive. well pleased with the job,i called him immediately and told him it was a fantastic job. needless to say,he's doing the one i got this year too
