PEACH COBBLER 9 X 13 (or close to it) baking glass dish or pan 1 stick of margarine, melted 2 cups Bisquick 3/4 cup sugar 2/3 cup milk 1 tsp. Baking powder 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1/8 tsp. nutmeg 1 Large (29 oz.) can sliced peaches (OR 2 - 15oz. cans) Melt margarine & pour into baking dish. Mix the Bisquick, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, baking powder (can sift if lumpy) add the milk and blend. If moisture is needed add a little of the juice. Pour over the melted margarine in baking dish. DO NOT STIR INTO MARGARINE !! Drain the sliced peaches saving juice. If thick sliced, slice them. Place sliced peaches on top of batter, evenly. Pour juice over the top. AGAIN, DO NOT STIR !! Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Toothpick should come out clean. This is our Mom's recipe and she always made it from scratch. She modified it when Bisquick came out & used store sliced peaches when we ate all the home canned!!!

Looks great Rosie and sounds easy enough to make. Could use apples or any other fruit I suppose.
