The lake effect snow machine kicked in here Wednesday night and all day Thursday with winds hitting 30 MPH and driving the snow. (See for those who don't know any time we get a north or northeast wind coming across lake Superior in the fall, winter or spring the wind carrying the water is snow when it hits shore and that is why we get the snow.) I am only 2 miles from the Big lake, Joe called last night and in Bessimer didn't get any and we got 6 inches.
