Thanks again everyone. Update: we have a place to stay, and the ins. company issued us an advance, so we bought the kids clothes, and stuff. It seems like we're gonna be fine. We won't be back in our house for a couple months or so. But it sounds like we will get a pretty good remodel by the time it is done. So, that is a good thing to remind us. It's hard to get into the holiday season though, that's for sure.

I JUST HAVE TO WONDER HOW SLOW THEY WOULD BE, IF THIS HAPPENED TO THEM. They won't let the inventory people in yet, because the ins. adjuster is too busy to call them back to give them the go ahead? It's amazing I am glad noone was hurt, I can't imagine how bad this would be, if that was the case. This is mindboggling how much of a pain in the ass it is.

i heard that i did . they can be slow as a turtle unless you keep the fire under there a_ _ and a bug in there ear . if it was them they would have already heard something by now .

I'm learning how to play their game I think. They said they could not issue us any money for temporary housing, or anything else until we faxed them some paperwork. We faxed it yesterday. So, he wants to come out on Tuesday with their cleaning crew, and my cleaning crew, and MY adjuster. I called him, and told him that I wouldn't be able to make it out there on Tuesday unless he got me some $$ on Monday. MY adjuster is going to pick up the check, and bring it to us on Monday. I waited until after he had a time all planned out with his cleaners, my cleaners and everything was cheduled to tell him that. LMAO! If he gives me any more hassle on that payment, I am gonna tell him that he will have to wait for almost 2 weeks until we get payed! I said I didn't have money for GAS!!!

Glad to see your figuring out their game. Don't take no crap. I'm glad you have money waiting for you, hopefully thing can start to get bacvk to normal. I have been in your shoes and it sucks.
