My grandaughter has been in the hospital for the last 4 days and possibly 1 or 2 more. She was put in last week with a lynph node problem. Problem was it loked like a baseball sticking out of her neck. The doctor drainrd it and it returned the next day. She was immediatly admitted and the tests started. The first thing they told us was lukemia. Of course everybodies heart just sank, this is a 4 year old blond haired little girl who didn't do anything to deserve something like this. Today is Monday, the test for lukemia is a negative but we are waiting for a test for lymph node cancer. Its amazing to me how modern medicine takes so long to find out thing, but only a minute to give you the diagnosis. Best case senerio is its an infection that they don't know what it is, or its the big "C" word. Just needed a little prayer from my thunderbuck brothers and sisters. Thanks Jeff

Update  She got to come home last night. No cancer was detected. She does however have a rare disease that is like TB. Its called nontypical TB. Its not contagious but it will be a long road to recovery. We start treatment Wed. hopefully she can take the oral treatment, if not she will hav eto be taken everyday to the doctors office to have an IV treatment. I've got on that is 16 years old and this by far has had been the hardest thing I've myself have ever had to deal with. Thanks to all of you folks for your support.

Thanks folks, man James I was wondering where you have been. My wife is leaing tonight to take her to St. Louis to the childrens hospital for aome more tests. They aren't sure how to treat it really. I have to take 23 kids to Jefferson City tomorrow and it will be tough to work knowing I'm not there. Hopefully everything will turn out to be fine. Thanks again Jeff

Jeff i have been alittle busy lately and trying to get ready for turkey season .  We all will be praying for your wife to have a safe trip and that the doctor's will figure out how to treat your little girl . Keep your head up and God will do the healing on her .

Well the hospital in St. Louis has good news. She does have the nontypical TB but they have started treatments and think it will be over with in about a year. Best news I've heard today. They are on their way home and the good lord has seen that she will be ok. Thanks again to all my thunderbuck brothers and sisters for your support.
