Yep, Cabelas had these bad boys on sale for $599. Entry level obviously. But by the time it's done, there won't be a whole lotta original parts on it anyways. Tuesday according to FedEx, I will have my NEW ATN second generation NV riflescope as well. This should be the best setup I've ever had.

forgive my stupidity, are we restricted to rimfire in the lower lower mich?  that gives us .22 or maybe a .17 hmr..... a .223 or even .243 would be much better MHO. I guess I should dig a bit before I go diving into a new season.....I assume shotguns, slugs? 00buck? and my biggest, accept for the occasional taxidermist bill, WTF do you do with the left over target practice?  I know Dana and Perry do some trapping and they take their animals in for a bit of cash, but how much do you boys get for a yote pelt?  never heard of yote stew or steaks either....inquiring minds....lmsao

Yes the regulation here is rimfires, and no buckshot, or slugs if using shotgun. I had the discussion on here though about inhumanely shooting #4 with a rimfire, and finding the blood trail AGAIN, with no luck.  I am gonna get my yotes mounted, but so far I have none to do this with. That was the original plan, unless it has mange or something. I have decided to take matters into my own hands with this .223. Never heard of yote stew, or anything though... Hmmm. I know some people eat all kinds of weird stuff though!

So todd your limited to rimfire for yotes? Wow we can kill them with anything that shoots. I guess every state has a different law. Your night scope is freakin awsome.

Thanks Harvester, i LOVE that scope BTW. We are limited to the rimfires ONLY at night. During the day, you could use a .50 BMG if ya wanted! LOL @Joe, my customizing doesn't include any trigger mods as of yet. The original trigger guard is all so far. New flash huder is on the way, and new forarm from Magpul is as well.
