well I found out there is a spot in his splene as well. They started him on radiation for the cancer in his brain stem for 2 weeks. They will start chemo after that.  I am so worried about my dad. I don't know what I will do when the time comes for my dad to pass. He is my everything. I am so scared to live without him. Sorry for the rant.

So sorry to hear this news Chris.  It is not easy to deal with
any of this, no matter who we are or how strong we think
we may be.
Keep your faith in God, and we are praying for you to get
through all of this and keep posting updates, that is what
we are all about here, support and family.

Prayers sent! We will keep you and your family in our thoughts and prayers. I know it is tough to go through, but just spend time with him. I lost both of my parents, my mom in 99 and my dad in 2000, sure it is tough, but with friends and family everything works out. If you need an ear to talk to or a shoulder to cry on, you know that this family will always be there for you. God bless and take care.

Hey buddy you know how to find me if you need my help. I dont know what it is like to lose a parent this day and age, but as you know my dad passed away when I was 4 and its hard for me to bare with this loss. But I can only imagine how its like to lose a parent after living this long with them. I have thought to call your your dad and talk to him, but I know it's a family issue and with the problems this kind of illness brings out I dont want to intrude on your family. like everybody else has said our thoughts and prayers are to you and your family.. If there is anything I can do you know how to get a hold of me...as far as the rant keep on going we will all listen to you buddy.

Thank you all for the prayers and concern with my dad.  The last few days have been really hard on him. He was admitted into the hospital with pneumona. He went down and out for about 3 days. no eating or hardly talking. During all of this i went down sick from the stress. I started to have a breakdown. My sister came in from St. Louis to spend time with him as well. I have kept myself away since i got sick and only talked on the phone with my sister and step mom. Last night I talked to my sister and she said he is starting to eat a whole lot more and getting stronger. I cried like a baby. It just amazes me what prayer can do when you truely believe. Today I am feeling better but opted to stay out of the hospital. I don't want my family to see me in my weakend state. I called and to my surprise my dad talked to me. It felt great to be able to talk to him and just hear his voice. He asked me about weather and normal stuff like that. I will keep trying to be on as much as possible to keep you all informed. Thank you all once again

Chris
